Arktika cruises onboard the m/aux Vivan from Klamila Harbour 

The sailing ship m/aux Vivan arranges evening cruises to the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park during the Arktika Days on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is also a morning cruise on Sunday, the last day of the event. Departures from the Klamila Harbour (Kalasatamantie 153, Virolahti). 

Cruises 

Departures to the evening cruises take place from the Klamila Harbour at 16.00. The cruises last for six hours, and the goal is to spend about two hours of this on the island. The cruises take you either to the island of Pitkä Kotka or the island of Ulko-Tammio, depending on the weather, winds and the situation with the migrating birds at that moment. The captain decides the destination when leaving the harbour. 

Timing: Evening cruises 4 pm – 10 pm, morning cruise 6 am-12 pm.
Duration: 6 hours. 

Price: 69 euros per person including guidance, drinks (juice, water, coffee), sandwich, bun and fruits .

All cruises are subject to weather conditions. Minimum number of participants 15 persons, maximum number of participants on the Arktika cruises 40 persons. We reserve the right to all changes and the right to cancel a trip due to a small number of participants in accordance with the Finnish Package Travel Act no later than 48 hours before the trip.

Guided tours to hear birds singing at night and in the morning 

The guided tours take you to the best sites in Virolahti for night-time singing birds to hear warblers, nightingales, corncrakes and nightjars. Marsh warblers and Blyth’s reed warblers arrive in Finland at around this time, and owls can be heard almost anywhere. You may also come across some surprises! We recommend that you take along something to eat and an energetic attitude. An early or late night in the spring in Virolahti is sure to be a memorable experience!

The 4-hour trips start from the car park of the Virolahti Church (Kirkontie 500, Virolahti) and return to the same place. Walking distance around 9 km.
Sat 25 May from 05 am to 9 am
The 4-hour trips start from the car park of the Virolahti Church (Kirkontie 500, Virolahti) and return to the same place. Walking distance around 9 km.
Sun 26 May from 05 am to 8 am
The 3-hour trip start from the car park of the Keisarin Huvipuisto (Tillintie 90, Virolahti) and return to the same place. Walking distance around 3 km.

The Night Singer Tours

Fri 24 and Sat 25 May from 10 pm to 02 am. The 4-hour trips start from the car park of the Virolahti Church (Kirkontie 500, Virolahti) and return to the same place.

Price: 30 euros per person including guide services and minibus transport.

Yin-yoga class outdoors

Experience a relaxing yin-yoga class outdoors, surrounded by beautiful nature and a natural soundscape enhanced with the sound of a shaman-drum and/or tibetan singing bowls. Instruction mainly in finnish, but easy to follow even if you do not speak the language. Will try to give the main instructions in english also if needed.
